About
From my earliest childhood memories, I can remember waking to the aroma of coffee my parents were brewing — that warm, comforting scent that hinted at how delicious it must have been.
Somewhere between Starbucks and Peet’s, I started to truly appreciate coffee. But it wasn’t until my time at Cisco Systems in the early 2000s that my real interest began to take shape. Long nights and early mornings in the cubicles meant brewing coffee with a French press alongside a co-worker. It was magical — the taste was new, the aroma inviting, and the moments shared over those cups became something I looked forward to. We’d talk about the latest “firedrill,” or sometimes about life itself, while enjoying a fresh brew.
That ritual carried through the rest of my career in tech — from espresso to Aeropress, moka pot to pour over — there was always something new to try and another coffee to discover. Then one day, I had a well-prepared Ethiopian pour over that completely changed my perception of coffee. It was delicate, floral, and as it cooled, the flavors unfolded into something vibrant and fruit-like. From that moment on, I’ve been captivated by the pursuit of discovering what coffee can be.
Now, I’m fortunate enough to pursue this passion more deeply — to learn, roast, and share it with others. Thank you for your encouragement, time, support, feedback, and even the simple hellos. I’m not entirely sure where this road will lead, but it’s already been an incredible ride — and if we haven’t yet, I hope we get to share a cup someday.
